2012 Spring Tea
The Marysville Historical Society is hosting its 9th Annual Spring Tea and Vintage Fashion Show at the Tulalip Resort Hotel at 10200 Quil Ceda Blvd, Tulalip, WA on Sunday April 22, 2012. Our theme this year is “A Berry Festive Tea~Celebrating 80 Years of Strawberry Festival”.
Tea tables will be individually hosted, complete with cloth tablecloths and napkins and a showcase of china patterns and centerpieces. The Society is looking for individuals to host a table. Each hostess who fills her own table with guests receives FREE admission. Individual seats are also available. Seating is limited and admission is by registration only. Seats are $25.00 each.
The menu will include tea sandwiches, strawberry tarts and other various sweets, along with coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate for the children.
A vintage fashion show will be presented with a red and pink emphasis. Guests are encouraged to “think Spring” and dress their Sunday best. Fancy hats are also encouraged, but not required. A prize will be awarded for Best Decorated Table and Best Hat as voted on by the attendees. Festivities will also include an abundant silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and other raffles and games.
You can win a beautiful Strawberry Quilt! Raffle tickets are on sale for $5.00 each and can be purchased at the Historical Society Museum Office on Third Street, call 360-659-3090, or at the Spring Tea. Drawing will be held at our Spring Tea on Sunday, April 22. Click here to see the flyer of the 52″ X 67″ quilt. Click here to see a closeup.
